Hong Kong AI automation companies: compare the workflow before the vendor
Published by Lyfar Studio, which offers services covered in this guide.

“We need AI” isn’t a brief you can price. “We need to read incoming enquiries, create a draft record and ask a person to approve it” is a starting point.
- Pick the workflow and its owner before comparing providers.
- Compare a ready-made platform with custom development when both could do the job.
- Ask each provider to demonstrate an error, a human handover and the record of what happened.
I compared documented Lyfar work with the other providers’ published capabilities. The fit column describes where I would begin an evaluation; it isn’t a benchmark of competing products.
Four providers, four starting points
Swipe across the table to compare all columns.
| Provider | Published offer or owned evidence | A reason to investigate | Test against your workflow |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lyfar Studio | Custom integrations and internal systems, illustrated by an owned personal agent and knowledge-management system. Technology, agent project, knowledge system | You need someone to connect a specific process across your existing tools. | The proposed permissions, approval steps and maintenance arrangement. |
| SleekFlow | A customer-messaging platform with AI agents, a shared inbox and workflow automation; integrations and governance features depend on the plan. Hong Kong plans | Your problem centres on sales or support conversations and their follow-up. | Your channels, agent-to-human handover and the full cost for your usage. |
| Fano | Conversation intelligence, speech technology, agent assistance and AI agents, with a Hong Kong headquarters. Platform, offices | Your project depends on analysing or handling enterprise voice and text interactions. | Your actual languages, recordings and review process. |
| Votee | Custom AI and language-model work; its MAGIC product describes cloud, on-premises and hybrid deployment. Company, MAGIC | You want to investigate a tailored enterprise model or deployment arrangement. | Whether your task needs model customization, and how the provider will evaluate it. |
I wouldn’t compare those four by counting their AI features. You need to establish which one can take responsibility for the work you want done.
SleekFlow offers a subscription platform; Lyfar offers custom implementation. Fano and Votee have their own products and technical specialisms. Compare them as buying routes for a defined task, rather than treating their offers as equivalent agency quotes.
Where Lyfar fits
The Clawd case study documents an internal agent connected to calendar, email and a knowledge base. The knowledge-system project covers linked notes, retrieval and curation. I built both for my own work.
The useful starting conversation is specific: a process owner, examples of the input and a clear description of a successful result. For instance, you might want a draft project brief assembled from approved source documents, with links back to the passages used.
I prefer beginning with one bounded workflow. You can see the permissions and failure cases before connecting more systems. If an existing product handles that workflow with less custom maintenance, include it in the comparison. A studio earns its place by solving the awkward part, not by adding another subscription to your stack.
Demonstrate the failure cases
Prepare a small set of representative inputs, with permission to use them. Include one incomplete enquiry, one ambiguous request and one case that requires a person’s judgement. Ask each provider to process the same examples.
Watch what happens when a required field is missing. Check whether the system invents an answer, asks for clarification or sends the case to a named person. Ask where that person sees the handover and what context arrives with it.
For a Hong Kong team working across English and Cantonese, supply examples that mix the languages as your staff or customers do. A language name on a product page doesn’t settle the question of performance on your material. Agree the acceptable result with the people who will review it.
Ask which systems the agent can change, which changes need approval and how you inspect the action history. Then have the provider demonstrate a failed action and the recovery procedure.
Price the complete workflow
Request a breakdown of setup, integration, platform subscription, model usage and support. Ask what happens when volumes grow, a vendor changes its API or a member of your team leaves. Those questions apply to Lyfar as much as to a platform provider.
Agree how you will measure the pilot before it starts. You could track completed cases and corrections required, using a sample your process owner approves.
If your team needs to learn the workflow before commissioning it, the Hong Kong corporate AI-training guide compares workshop and study formats.
If your requirement spans existing tools and needs custom integration, send Lyfar one workflow to examine . Describe who starts it, what they receive and which action still needs a human decision.
